The proposed project would consist of the paving of approximately 0.6 m (2 ft left and right) of the existing shoulders on SR 243.

A 30 acre area is proposed for the expansion of housing facilities at Georgia College & State University. This acreage is one of two locations targeted for the expansion of the West Campus. This report focuses on the intensive archaeological survey of the western portion.

Phase I cultural resources survey of the 36.86 km (22.9 mi) Georgia portion of the proposed Southern Natural Gas Company Georgia-Alabama Settlement Facilities Project was conducted by R. Christopher Goodwin & Associates, Inc., during May 1995.

On July 31, 1990 an archaeological foot survey was conducted by David J. Davis of the Office of the State Archaeologist of the Birdberry Nature Trail in Fort Yargo State Park, Barrow County, Georgia.

In accordance with the Parks and Historic Sites Capital Outlay Projects SFY 83 planned development, an archaeological survey was carried out at Fort Yargo State Park on August 18, 1982. Proposed development consists of a camping area.

During March and April, 1989, Robert S. Webb, Beth Gantt, Sterling Howard and Thomas Pickett conducted an intensive coverage cultural resources survey of approximately 230 hectares (570 acres) in Banks County, Georgia for G. Ben Turnipseed Engineers.

The proposed project would involve the encasing of the existing steel H-beams in concrete to strengthen the bridge supports at locations throughout the state. Existing right-of-way is approximately 30.5 m (100 ft). All construction will be limited to the existing right-of-way.

The proposed project would widen and reconstruct the intersection of SR 211, CR 4, and SR 327 in Barrow County.

The proposed project would consist of the widening of SR 8 at CR 97/Ed logan Road. The project would provide a left turn lane for both east and eastbound traffic on SR 8.

Eight archaeological sites were recorded within the Milam Farm tract.
