This report represents the results of an archaeological field survey of a proposed 201 Wastewater Facility at the Georgia Industrial Institute near Alto, Banks County, Georgia. The proposed construction area consists of expansion of an existing sewage treatment plant by several acres.

Project EDS-441(30) consists of the widening and reconstruction of US 441/SR 15 from CR 230 to CR 150 in Banks County. Archaeological clearance for the proposed project was completed by GDOT staff archaeologist Bob Entorf in 1987.

The proposed project would reconstruct five existing asphalt exit ramps on 1-75 in Bartow County. The exit ramps are located at CR 397, Red Top Mountain Road, SR 113, SR 20, and Glade Road. On 1-75 the southbound exit ramp at SR 20 will be extended to the SR 113 interchange.

The proposed project would consist of reconstruction of median crossovers along SR 3/US 41 at various locations in Bartow County. The project begins at the Cobb County/Bartow County Line and proceeds northward to the SR 293 Connector. The total length of the project is 15.15 miles.

Project BRZLB-015(5) consists of the replacement of a 21'x40' concrete bridge on CR 114 over the Oothkalooga Creek tributary south of Adairsville. The project begins approximately 500 feet north of the bridge and ends 500 feet south of the bridge.
