The Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Wildlife Resources Division (hereafter DNR), wishes to construct a ca. 100 acre fishing lake on the Pulaski-Bleckley County line.

As a unit of the Southeast Region, Cumberland Island National Seashore is included in the Southeast Archeological Center’s Regionwide Archeological Survey Program (RASP) (Keel et al. 1996).

The selected alternative for P.I. Number 0003770 would widen and reconstruct Glade Road (CR 633) in Bartow County from Homestead Drive (CR 605)/Apache Drive (CR 377) to Ryan R (CR 810)/Yacht Club Road (CR 386). These limits would include a distance of approximately 3.7 miles.

The proposed project would consist of the leveling and resurfacing of SR 15/ S 84 in Pierce County. The proposed project would begin at the intersection of SR 38 in the city of Blackshear and would end at the bridge over Big Satilla Creek at the Appling County line.

The proposed project would widen SR 282 in Ellijay beginning at a point approximately 485 meters (1600 feet) west of the Coosawattee River then continuing easterly to an end point at CR 193.

During the period of November 17 through 22, 2011, R.S. Webb & Associates (RSWA) conducted a Phase I cultural resources survey of the proposed rail loop at the Pilgrims Pride facility near Ambrose in Coffee County, Georgia.

The survey described here was designed to locate and evaluate archaeological sites in the in the area of two Henry County intersection improvements proposed by the Georgia Department of Transportation.

The construction and operation of the proposed runway Approach Lighting System (ALS) for Runway 5 on land leased by Robins AFB would impact archaeological site 9Ht56, which is eligible for listing on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).
