The current study consists of an evaluation of changes made to the alignment since the first addendum completed by EPEI in 2007. These changes include the redesign of the northbound ramps for the proposed 1-75/Union Grove Road Interchange.

The proposed project would consist of the paving of 0.6 m (2 ft) shoulders of SR 52 in Gilmer County. The proposed project would begin at the intersection of River Street (MP 14.06) and would end at the Dawson County line (MP 28.24).

The original proposed project would replace the SR 20 bridge over Stamp Creek. The existing bridge is approximately 140' X 26' and would be replaced with an approximately 203' X 44' structure on existing alignment. State Route 20 would be closed, utilizing an off-site detour.

This project involves the replacement, on existing alignment, of the bridge over North Beaverdam Creek on Matt Beasley Road. The project will begin 450' south of the creek and will terminate 475' north of that creek. A 120 ' corridor was surveyed for the project length.
