Report Abstracts

The proposed project would widen S.R. 247-C south of Byron. The project as proposed would begin just west of S.R. 49 then would extend easterly along existing S.R. 247-C to I-75. Existing right-of-way is 100 feet. An additional 30 feet of right-of-way would be required.

Based on the information submitted, HPD believes that no historic properties or archaeological resources that are listed in or eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places will be affected by this undertaking.

The proposed project would consist of the paving of 0.6 m (2 ft) shoulders of SR 185 in Pierce County. The proposed project would begin approximately 0.193 km (0.12 mi) south of CR 83 (MP 6.50) and end at the Bacon County line (MP 12.10).

The proposed intersection improvement project is located at the intersection of State Route (SR) 247 connector and John E. Sullivan Road/Walker Road in Peach County, Georgia.

STP-002-4(2) proposes to construct four passing lanes and a turn lane on State Route 44 from the city of Eatonton in Putnam County southerly to the Jones County line. Passing lane #1 will provide a southbound passing lane between mil markers 0.05 and 1.10 for a total of 1.05 miles.

The proposed project would widen and reconstruct US 84/SR 38 from CR 107 to the city limits of Screven, Georgia. Existing right-of-way varies between 100-300 feet and up to an additional 50 feet would be required. The total project length is approximately 6.8 miles.

The proposed project would consist of the construction and paving of a 0.60 m (2.0 ft) paved shoulder on SR 39C in Stewart County. The project would begin at the intersection of SR 39 (MP 0.00) and would end at the intersection of SR 1 (MP 15.88).

The proposed project would consist of the paving and widening to 0.6 m (2 ft) of the existing shoulders on SR 77 Connector in Elbert County. The project would begin at the intersection of SR 77 (MP 0.00) and would end at the intersection of SR 17 (MP 1.35).

Project TSAP-15(177) would construct acceleration and deceleration lanes in front of the Pierce County Elementary School on SR 15/SR 121.

The project proposes to remove and replace the Georgia Southwestern Railroad Bridge on South Lee Street in Americus. To accommodate a required increase in railroad under-clearance, the grade of South Lee Street would have to be elevated between West College Street and Brannan Avenue.
