The Battle of Atlanta Trail project will connect two Civil War monuments to a shopping center, neighborhoods, parks, Hope Charter School and the Southeast YMCA.

In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, project STP-2692(10), Stewart County has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP

New South Associates has completed the archaeological survey of nine intersections in Barrow County, Georgia in response to a request from Atkins North America, Inc.

Project BHF-012-1(97) and BHF-012-1(98), Bartow County would consist of the replacement of two narrow and structurally deficient bridges on State Route 20 over Stamp Creek and Boston Creek.

The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) wishes to replace two structurally deficient bridges on State Route 44 (SR 44) in Wilkes County (Figure 1 ). One of these bridges spans Fishing Creek northeast of the town of Washington. The other spans Kettle Creek southwest of Washington.

The Wildlife Resources Division of the Georgia Department ofNatural Resources (DNR) is proposing to construct an earthen dam across an unnamed, third order tributary of the Ocmulgee River in the Ocmulgee Wildlife Management Area (WMA).

Archaeological reconnaissance was completed for the approximately 26 acre Jackson hill project tract in October 1998. This study was completed for the City of Rome, Georgia to ascertain the presence of reported Civil War earthworks on the tract.

Proposed project STP-OORR( 151) in Banks/Hall Counties consists of the widening of Railroad A venue and the extension of 8th Street to cross Old Cornelia Highway and the railroad. The project would also include the addition of a right turn lane at Old Cornelia Highway and the railroad.

On March 5th through 6th, 2007, Brockington and Associates, Inc., conducted an intensive cultural resources survey of the Royal Lakes Property, in Hall County, Georgia. The survey tract consisted of approximately 21.5 acres situated about 3.2 km (2 miles) southwest of the Gainesville, Georgia.

Project TSAP-3 involves the construction of acceleration/deceleration and turn lanes on SR 3 south of Ellaville at the new elementary school.
