Report Abstracts

On March 5th through 6th, 2007, Brockington and Associates, Inc., conducted an intensive cultural resources survey of the Royal Lakes Property, in Hall County, Georgia. The survey tract consisted of approximately 21.5 acres situated about 3.2 km (2 miles) southwest of the Gainesville, Georgia.

Project TSAP-3 involves the construction of acceleration/deceleration and turn lanes on SR 3 south of Ellaville at the new elementary school.

In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, STP-1171(4), Schley/Sumter Counties has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP)

From 10 to 14 July 2006, Brockington and Associates, Inc. conducted an intensive cultural resources survey of the Kingsland Tract in Camden County, Georgia.

A Phase I intensive archaeological survey was carried out for the proposed Bannister Creek mitigation bank along Bannister and Brewton creeks in Forsyth County, Georgia.

The proposed project would reconstruct and widen CR254 south of Sylvania. As proposed the project would begin at the intersection of US301/SR73 then would extend easterly along existing CR254 to SR21.

The proposed project would consist of the replacement of the bridge carrying SR 82 Spur over the North Oconee River (see Figure 1. Project Location Map). The bridge would be replaced at its existing location and an off-site detour would be utilized during construction.

The proposed project would consist of the leveling and resurfacing of SR 118 just southwest of the city of Leslie. Also included in this project would be the construction and paving of a 0.6 m (2 ft) shoulders on SR 118.

The proposed project would consist of operational and traffic flow improvements for approximately 0.6 miles along State Route 5/Bill Arp Road (SR 5) from the Wesley Pond Apartments driveway to Concourse Parkway (see Figure 1: Project Location Map).
