Report Abstracts

In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, project MR-3200 (12), Bibb County has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).

Archeological Assessment of a Towns County Resurfacing Project. This project consists of the patching, leveling, overlay, permanent markings, and shoulder building of SR 288 from M.P. 0.00 to M.P. 5.76. All work will take place within the existing right-of-way with no new right-of-way required.

In compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and amendments thereto, project F-056-1(43), Fulton Co., has been surveyed with respect to archaeological resources, especially those on or eligible for inclusion in –the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).

Archaeological Assessment of Project NHS-0000-00(8 19), Butts County, lighting improvements at the I-75 intersection with State Route 36, to be carried out within existing right-of-way.

In compliance with the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, an archaeological survey has been conducted for the above project in Peach County. The project consists of constructing temporary approaches and bridge over Mossy Creek on S.R. 42.

Wetlands Survey, BRZLB-239(2), Quitman County and BRSLB-1161(2), Quitman County. The subject projects were surveyed in the field for wetlands involvement. No impact to jurisdictional wetlands would be anticipated with the completion of either of these bridge projects.
