Archaeological testing of the Bertha Petty Site (Survey Site 1) was carried out from May 11 through May 26,1987 by Garrow and Associates, Inc.

Archaeological testing of Site 35, the Sardis Creek Site, was carried out from the 29th of June through the 3rd of July, 1987 by Garrow and Associates, Inc. The site is located approximately three miles north of Canton in Cherokee County, Georgia.

The Swaney Site (Survey Site 2) was first recorded by James Langford (1986), and was resurveyed during the Cultural Resource Investigation of the East Tennessee - Ball Ground Proposed Pipeline Corridor, conducted for the Atlanta Gas Light company.

Archaeologists have defined the Kings Bay Locality as the area between the Crooked River and the St. Marys River and east of Dark Entry Swamp, including the tidal marsh and estuaries west of Cumberland Island. Most of this area now lies within the Naval Submarine Base-Kings Bay.

An archaeological study was conducted of the area encompassed by Robins A.F.B. The purpose of the study was two fold: (1) to determine the significance of a previously located prehistoric site; and (2) to locate and record any other archaeological or historic sites on the base.

On December 10, 1986 and January 28, 1987 intensive archaeological survey was carried out on three tracts within the Chattahoochee National Forest Greene County, Georgia.

During September of 1986, Robert S. Webb conducted a cultural resource survey of the proposed Oglethorpe Power Corporation's 2 hectare (5.1 acre) Roddenbery tap line corridor and substation site. The proposed project is in Grady County, Georgia, near Cairo.

An intensive cultural resources survey was conducted on approximately 28 ha (70 ac) of mostly wooded land that is to be used to expand the existing Peachtree City Airport, known as Falcon Field.

An intensive cultural resources survey was conducted of the proposed 11.2 km Matt to Dawsonville transmission line route in Forsyth and Dawson Counties, Georgia. Four archeological sites and three artifact occurrences were located in the survey area.
