Report Abstracts

In July of 2009, KCI Technologies conducted an additional Phase I archaeological survey in conjunction with revisions to the 1-75 widening and reconstruction project (GDOT Project NHS-0000-00(763), PI# 0000763, HP-080401 0-002).

The proposed project is located in Rockdale County at the intersection of SR 138/Stockbridge Highway and E. Fairview Road SW The existing SR 138/Stockbridge Highway consists of two 12-foot travel lanes (one in each direction) and paved shoulders.

This project is within the City of Alpharetta, Fulton County, and consists of the widening and reconstruction of SR 9, reconfiguration of sideroads, pedestrian improvements and signal upgrades. The work is divided into two projects, PI 721790 and 721780.

This project proposes improvements to SR 144 at the I-95 Interchange and to the I-95 northbound and southbound off ramps.

The original project description reads: The proposed project involves the addition of a second lane from SR141 southbound onto the limited access portion of Peachtree Industrial Boulevard southbound by constructing a new lane on the left shoulder of the existing lane from SR141 SB onto Peachtree

The proposed project limits extend along the southbound SR 400 entrance ramp where SR 400 transitions from four lanes to three lanes and continues northward until reaching approximately 1000 feet beyond the SR 400 southbound exit ramp (Figures 1 and 2).

Original Project Description: The intersection of State Route (SR) 362 at County Road (CR) 507 is located approximately 3.0 miles southwest of the interchange of SR 3/US 19/41 and 1.54 miles northeast of the Pike County Line on SR 362 in Spalding County.

The proposed project consists of three improvements. The first improvement is an intersection at SR 155 at Hampton-Locust Grove Road/Bill Gardner Parkway.

The intersection of SR 92/Campbellton Fairburn Road and SR 14/South Fulton Parkway is located in Southwest Fulton County.

Environmental Corporation of America (ECA) has completed an Archaeological Assessment for the federal undertaking at the subject site.
