The project is located in the City of Marietta at the intersection of SR 360/Powder Spring Street and SR 5/ SR 120/South Marietta Parkway.

The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) proposes to upgrade roadway intersection signals at nine highway intersections in Cherokee County, Georgia.

The proposed project would construct improvements along SR 140/Holcomb Bridge Road between the northbound exit ramps from SR 400 and Market Boulevard (see F'Jgure 1).

From August 29 through November 18, 2011, TRC conducted a Phase I cultural resource survey for a transmission line project in Burke, Jefferson, McDuffie, and Warren counties, Georgia.

The proposed operational improvement project would consist of constructing an auxiliary lane on 1-85 northbound between the SR 140/Jimmy Carter Blvd and Indian Trail lilburn Road interchanges. Additional ROW is not required.

A total of three previously recorded archaeological sites are located within a 1-kilometer radius of the corridor. Site 9DA352 (recordation date unknown) is located 350-meters outside of the APE, and is a lithic scatter of unknown eligibility for the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP).

This project proposes to replace the conventional diamond interchange with a tight urban diamond interchange (TUDI) with ramp intersection spacing of approximately 350 feet.

On February 3, 2015, Southern Research Historic Preservation Consultants, Inc. conducted an archaeological survey of the proposed Debary telecommunications tower tract and access easement in Baker County, Georgia.
