Cobb County Department of Transportation proposes to construct a pedestrian/transit bridge across Interstate (I)-285. The bridge approach would begin at a point along an existing private roadway that services the Cobb Galleria.

The proposed project would consist of the sale of surplus property currently owned by the department.  The subject parcel contains approximately 1.30 acres and is on the south side of SR 280 (Delk Road), east of SR 3 (Cobb Parkway) (see Figure 1).

This project is currently under construction and is widening and reconstructing US 441/SR 24 from just north of CR 245/Cay Road the Eatonton Bypass at US 129/SR 44 (Figure 1).

The original 2011 project scope improved Windy Hill Road between US 41/Cobb Parkway and Spectrum Circle/Interstate North Parkway. The scope of this project was reduced from 1.37 miles to 0.21 mile along Windy Hill Road.
