Report Abstracts

A reconnaissance-level archeological survey of the proposed Albany riverfront development was conducted by Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. in May, 1996. The survey involved a site file search and two days of fieldwork along the Flint River.

In January and February 1995, Panamerican Consultants, Inc. (PCI) of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, conducted Phase I submerged cultural resource investigations along a portion of the Savannah River relative to a proposed extension of the Savannah Riverwalk.

This project proposes the leveling, resurfacing, 4' shoulder building and 2' shoulder paving of SR 38 beginning at the Decatur/Seminole County Line and ending at SR US 27. All work will take place within the existing right-of-way with no new right-of-way required.
