The proposed project would include resurfacing, shoulder building, leveling, milling, and patching on SR 44 Spur in Wilkes County. The proposed project would begin at SR 44 (MP 0.0) then continue easterly to an end point at SR 47 (MP 2.0).

Existing traffic patterns on the Dixie Highway/US 41 /State Route (SR) 3 is a continuous flow movement at its intersection with County Road (CR) 381/Graysville Road, while approaching traffic on CR 381/Graysville Road is controlled with a stop bar and stop sign.

I-16 improvements would include the addition of one general purpose lane along both I-16 eastbound and westbound between I-95 and I-516.

The purpose of this project is bridge rehabilitation at six bridge locations over Interstate (I-) 20 in Carroll County, Georgia (Table 1)(Figures 1-6). The proposed project will include raising each bridge between 1 to 5 inches to a minimum vertical clearance of 17 feet.

This project proposes to replace the existing 1948 bridge located along State Route (SR) 81 over the South River (Figure 1). The existing structure consists of two 12-foot opposing travel lanes, with approximate 2-foot grass shoulders and rural side ditches.

The project proposes to widen US 78/Lexington Road in the city of Athens from a four lane to a six (11-12 foot) lane roadway from the Oconee Street/Oak Street intersection to just east of Winterville Road for an approximate project length of 0.6 miles and design speed of 45 MPH.

The proposed project would be approximately 1.9 miles north of the Eastman City limits along US 23/SR 87 just south of the CR 348/Antioch Church Road (Figure 1).
