The Georgia Department of Transportation contracted with Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc. to survey the right-of-way for a proposed new location bypass around the western side of the town of Swainsboro. The right-of-way begins on an existing portion of U.S. 1/S.R.

In December 1993, Environmental Services, Inc., conducted an intensive cultural resource assessment survey of a 1.6 mile long by 75 foot wide corridor in Bulloch County, Georgia. The corridor is the proposed location for Oglethorpe Power Corporation's Jimps Tap 115 kV Transmission Line Project.

The 10 ha (25 ac) tract of land for the proposed Flint EMC service facility is located on a broad, flat ridge top in Houston County, Georgia.

In compliance with federal regulations, Oglethorpe Power Corporation sponsored an archeological survey of a proposed 14.9 ha (37 ac) substation tract on Ebenezer Road and Camp Creek in Fayette County, Georgia.

Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc., of Athens, Georgia, completed a reconnaissance level archeological survey for the U.S. Forest Service in the Armuchee Ranger District of the Chattahoochee National Forest, located in northwest Georgia.

An archaeological survey and evaluation of the proposed widening and improvements for SR 4/US 1, in Toombs and Emanuel Counties, Georgia was performed in November 1993. The proposed widening corridor and improvements encompassed portions of both the east and west sides of SR 4/US 1.

The City of Columbus, South Commons project area consists of a 110 ac (45 ha) tract bounded on the north and east by Victory Drive and on the south and west by the Chattahoochee River. The South Commons was originally set aside in the city plan as a public use area.

An intensive archeological survey was conducted on a two-block area of downtown Columbus that will be the site of an underground storm sewer reclamation facility and landscaped park.
