A series of reconnaissance level cultural resource examinations related to the construction or replacement of four culverts, damaged or destroyed from flooding, were performed at Fort Gordon, Georgia.

On April 17, 1991, Savannah District archaeologists Judy Wood and David Crampton conducted an intensive cultural resources survey of the area to be impacted by the proposed construction of a second satellite communications training facility (SATCOM2) on Fort Gordon in Richmond County, Georgia.
