The proposed project would resurface and renovate an existing paved parking lot located in Clarkston, Georgia. The project area is within existing right-of-way limits and consists of approximately 2.2 acres.

This project consists of improving the intersection on the east end of the Bainbridge Bypass to allow for its connectivity with United States (US) 84 and the re-alignment of US 84 BU. This project may also need a traffic signal and advance warning beacon.

Original Project Description for Rays Road: The proposed project limits are from Memorial Drive to Multi-Use Path (approximately 200 feet south of E. Ponce De Leon Avenue) (1.36 miles).

The proposed project would realign SR 56 to the south starting approximately 500 feet east of Gibbs Bridge Road and tying back to the original alignment approximately 400 feet east of the Toombs County line.

The proposed project would improve the intersection of SR 53 at SR 3/US 41 in Gordon County, Georgia. The project consists of adding exclusive eastbound right and left turn lanes and a westbound left turn lane from SR 53 onto SR 3/US 41.

The proposed project would consist of replacing the structurally deficient bridge located on CR 246/Brownwood Road over Big Indian Creek in Morgan County. The proposed 130-foot long bridge would have two 11-foot travel lanes (one in each direction) with 4-foot shoulders on each side.

The proposed project would consist of replacing the structurally deficient bridge located on CR 154/Old Buckhead Road over North Sugar Creek, in Morgan County. The proposed 110-foot long bridge would have two 12-foot travel lanes (one in each direction) with 8-foot shoulders on each side.

In August 2008, Edwards-Pitman Environmental, Inc. (EPEI) conducted an archaeological survey at the site of the proposed bridge replacement at CR 23/Davis Academy Road over Big Indian Creek in Morgan County, Georgia. The total length of the project is 0.37 miles.
