Cultural resources inventories have been completed for portionsof the Tallulah Ranger District, Chattahoochee National Forest prior to Forest Service activities during the second half of FY92 and the first half of FY93.

This report documents the results of the Phase I cultural resources survey performed on the 5.51 acre area to be impacted by the construction of the proposed Sandy Plains 115/12 kV Substation.

In compliance with federal regulations governing the preservation of significant cultural resources (National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, Executive Order 11593, and the Archeological and Historic Preservation Act of 1974) the U.S.

A cultural resource survey has been completed for the Upper Chattahoochee Recreation Area, on the Chattooga Ranger District, Chattahoochee National Forest. This survey was undertaken prior to development and improvements to this area.

In late January 1993 an archeological survey and archival research study was made in Columbus, Georgia on the Chattahoochee River bank from the old City Wharf south to the Oglethorpe Bridge.

Data recovery on 9SW113 at the locations of three proposed Oglethorpe Power Corporation 115 kV transmission line poles was conducted by Southeastern Archeological Services, Inc., during the period of July 16-19, 1985.

A cultural resources survey has been completed for the Mack White Gap and Strawberry Mountain Timber Sales on the Conasauga Ranger District in Chattooga County, Georgia.

Cultural resources surveys have been completed for portions of Compartments 644and 647 on the Toccoa Ranger District, Chattahoochee National Forest.

This report documents the results of the Phase I cultural resources survey conducted on Fort McPherson military reservation in Fulton County, Georgia.

A Cultural Resources Survey of 639 acres of Compartment 5 in Tallulah Ranger District of Chattahoochee National Forest was conducted in August and September 1993. Two archeological sites and Man historic cemetery were recorded during the survey.
